Beautiful CG-63 Junior .22lr rimfire sporter rifle built on Carl Gustafs Vapenfabriks 1917 action.

These weapons were produced in limited quantities for the FSR (Frivilliga Skytterörelsen) from Swedish mod.96 modified Mauser systems.

This carbine is in perfect condition; its 27" heavy barrel [Ø ¾" at the muzzle] is like new and delivers exceptional accuracy.

The 13" LOP stock replicates the lines of the model 63 center fire rifle and retains, despite some minor scratches, the majority of factory finishes as well as the monogrammed butt plate and the blue decal affixed at the arsenal on the right side of the stock.

The sighting is ensured by a fine GF micrometer diopter specifically built for the rimfire cartridge and a type 63 tunnel front sight.

The trigger let off is very clean and the operation absolutely perfect thanks to the ingenuity and care taken to modify the mod.96 bolt.
