Made in 1919 in New Haven, this Winchester mod.1894 saddle ring carbine is chambered for the 30-30 WCF cartridge.

The 20" nickel steel barrel is perfect and with its 13" long straight stock this 6lb 6oz handy rifle measures less than 40".

The wood is American black walnut (juglans nigra) and the stock ends with a steel butt plate.

This rifle retains the majority of its original bluing on the barrel and magazine tube while the frame treatment is turning gray.

 

It is rare to find in Europe a more than a century old Winchester carbine in such a state of preservation.
