Carpathian Hahnkipplaufbüchse Set
BOROVNIK Ludwig
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 6,5x65R & 9,3x74R
A stunning set made up of a break open single shot hammer 6,5x65R rifle and its additional 9,3x74R barrel, the whole assembly built at the end of 1997 by Ludwig BOROVNIK, in Ferlach, Austria.
The octagonal 24½'' monobloc ribbed barrels are machined from a single piece of Böhler "Super Blitz" steel and are chambered for the flat shooting 6,5x65R RWS round and the 9,3x74R classic cartridge.
The rounded action uses double bolting lugs and doll’s head extension to secure the barrel and a German double set trigger activates the rebounding hammer. Indeed the mechanism can be carried safely with the hammer at half cock.
The French grey finished action is profusely engraved in a blend of fine scrolls and vignettes depicting stag, wild boar, roe deer and wild sheep.
The 14½" LOP oil finished stock is made of very high grade figured walnut with Austrian triple beaded cheek piece and black buffalo horn buttplate, grip cap and forend schnabel.
Each barrel is individually fitted with a Zeiss ZM 1,5-6x42 T* R4 scope on Ferlach reduced claw mounts and sports a slanted rear sight regulated on the gold bead front sight.
Depending on the caliber the rifle weights between 6lbs-8oz and 6lbs-13oz and about 8lbs when scoped.
This rifle set is composed so as to be able to do with the same weapon roe deer or mountain games stalking and stag roar hunting or big wild boar shooting.
Indeed this as new rifle bears our complete guarantee, flawless functioning and accuracy being granted and it’s a rare opportunity to acquire at a fraction of its initial price a multipurpose set.
