Category : C
Caliber : .300WM & 22 Hornet
Nice bergstuzen two calibers double rifle, made in Ferlach in 1987 for SIPP in Strasbourg.
The 25'' chopper lump Böhler steel barrels are chambered for the .300WM and 22 Hornet cartridges, and ideal combination to hunt European mountain species, from red stag to roe deer and from wild boar to chamois.
The action uses the traditional Kersteen upper bar with double bolt lugs at the barrels and relies on a trigger plate "Blitz" system for the percussion. Each trigger is a combined set hair trigger.
The entire action has been finely engraved with hunting scenes: Red deer, Chamois and Capercaillie, on Germanic scrolls background, the whole being grey finished.
The 14½'' LOP stock is made of high quality French walnut with hump back and triple beaded Bavarian cheekpiece while the forearm is of the three parts pattern.
An engraved "reserve" cartridge magazine is set under the stock rear.
That bergstuzen is fitted with a Zeiss "Diavari" VM 3-12x56 T* scope with illuminated reticle on hand made claw mounts of flawless performance.
With its scope mounted, this two caliber O/U double rifle weights 8lbs 13oz net and 7lbs 6oz un-scoped.
