Nice Anson system ejector over-under made by FORGERON in Liege, Belgium, for H. GERARD in Le Havre.

The forged action benefits of a Kersteen bolt, double triggers and H&H type ejectors.

The 28½" chopper lump barrels are choked 5/10° and 7/10°.

Excellent French walnut has been used for the 14¾" LOP straight stock that ends with an English 1" red butt pad while the forend is of three pieces style.

The action, which retains much of the original turning grey color case hardening, is scrolls and bouquets engraved.

Even if the flawless functioning doesn't call for any remarks, with a perfect percussion and well-timed ejectors, the action would eventually deserve a very slight re-adjustment even if no play being perceptible on the fully assembled gun.

This beautiful classic game gun is perfectly balanced with a net weigh of 6lbs 8oz.
