Stunning CG-63 Match .22lr rimfire sporter rifle built on CARL GUSTAFS VAPENFABRIKS 1910 action.

These weapons were produced in limited quantities for the FSR (Frivilliga Skytterörelsen) from Swedish mod.96 modified Mauser systems.

This rifle is in as new condition; its 27" heavy barrel [Ø 0.710" at the muzzle] is like new and delivers exceptional accuracy from its mirror bore.

The 13½" LOP stock replicates the lines of the model 63 center fire rifle and retains its original factory finishes as well as the monogrammed butt plate.

The sighting is ensured by a fine GF micrometer diopter specifically designed for the .22 rimfire cartridge and a steel globe front sight designed to accept ANSCHUTZ standard Ø18^mm inserts.

The trigger let-off is very clean and the operation perfect thanks to the ingenuity and care taken in modifying the mod.96 lock.

The trigger shoe is ribbed on its front face for a better feeling of release. A very ingenious system made up of a steel bracket screwed in the receiver rear tang, one of whose branches adjoins the head of the trigger, blocks the vertical movement of bolt shroud inherent in all military Mauser actions. This device allows a clean let-off of great regularity at 3lbs.
