Best quality side-by-side double express rifle build circa 1977 by Joseph WINKLER in Ferlach for SIPP in Strasbourg.
The triple bolt action is fitted with an automatic safety, H&H ejectors and hair trigger on the right barrel.
The 24" Bohler Rasant chopper lump barrels are chambered for the potent 9,3x74.R cartridge and are fitted with an excellent Zeiss "Diavari" ZA 1,5-6x42 with n°6 "Munch" reticle, on gorgeous Sipp claw mounts.
The 14" LOP stock is made from a very fine piece of French walnut with horn grip cap and checkered wood buttplate.
That rifle returns from Hambrusch Werke in Ferlach where it was entirely renewed, tuned and finely regulated. It is furnished with an astonishing test target, showing four cartridges shot at 80 meters delivering a 1½" group with 285gns RWS loads !
The weight of the assembly is a mere 9lbs 3oz and 7lbs 10oz for the rifle only.
