A gorgeous original pair of drop lock “Tribute” A&S, in perfect condition.
The elegantly scalloped actions, made of forged Böhler steel, house the Westley-Richards pattern drop locks controlled by a single trigger. The entire action and fittings are covered by an extremely well executed fine English “Best Scrolls & Roses” engraving, while the French gray silver finish headlights the work signed by Massa. The automatic ejectors are of the proven and potent patented H&H pattern with very wide extractors.
The 28" chopper lump barrels, chocked 1/10° and 3/10°, bear perfect shinny bores.
The oil finished 14¾" L.O.P straight stocks and splinter forends, made of superb reddish French walnut, are finely checkered.
The two guns weight exactly the same weight at 6.lbs 11.oz on the scale, with a perfect balance of 3.lbs 6.oz for the stocked actions and 3.lbs 5.oz for barrels with forend.
That used and well-cared genuine pair is in spotless condition.
Each gun, perfect in every respect, with flawless functioning and shooting, is presented in its original case with labels and papers.
