Famars "Tribute" Drop-Lock
FAMARS ABBIATICO & SALVINELLI
Shotguns
Category : C
Caliber : 12/70mm/ 2¾"
A very nice FAMARS "Tribute" drop-lock, first model, made circa 1985 by Abbiatico & Salvinelli.
The elegantly scalloped action, made of forged steel, houses the Westley-Richards pattern drop locks controlled by a single non selective trigger.
The initial carbonitriding finish on the action and other parts has been hand polished, revealing the impeccable and discreet engraving in scrolls, wimples and banners soberly executed by the great G. Sabatti.
The automatic ejectors, of the proven and potent H&H pattern, stroke the wide extractors, while the 28" chopper lump barrels, 5/10°and 8/10°chocked, bear perfect shinny bores.
The satin oil finished 14½" L.O.P straight stock is made from a well-seasoned and figured dense French walnut blank. It ends on a ?" leather covered pad.
That high quality rare gun weights 6 lbs 13 oz
Used but well cared, it's in perfect condition and appears to have been sparingly shot while retaining an important bolting reserve.
The gun bears, indeed, our full guarantee.
