Side-plated Luxus "Kipplaufbüchse"
FERLACH ARTISANAL
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 6,5x57R
That gorgeous single shot “KARPATEN” rifle has been built in Ferlach on a forged action made circa 1999.
The 24" fully ribbed round barrel is chambered for the versatile 6,5x57R cartridge, a perfect choice for traditional roe deer stalking and chamois hunting, even if with 150 grainers bullet it’s considerate more than adequate for all continental game, including red deer and wild boar.
The side-plated action, with combined Kersten and double bolting at the barrel lugs, uses a modified Blitz system with traditional double set trigger.
Grey finished, it has been tastefully engraved with bulino vignettes and foliated scrolls.
The right side depicts roe deer with red stag portrayed on the left one while a superb chamois head adorns the action belly.
The 14¼" LOP stock is made from nicely figured flamed French walnut, with kaisergriff and Austrian sculpted cheek piece while jet black ebony ends the grip cap and the forend schnabel.
This new and accurate high quality kipplauf is fitted with a SWAROVSKI Z3 3-9×36 R4A scope on traditional Ferlacher reduced claw mounts.
The rifle weights 6lbs-9oz alone and 7lbs-8oz scoped.
It must be noticed that Ferlach do not produce anymore at a reasonable price that kind of single shot rifle, such a “Karpaten” rifle being now offered almost twice the price of this one.
