Hahn Ischler Kipplaufstutzen
BOROVNIK Ludwig
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 6,5x57 R
This break open single shot hammer rifle has been made circa 2000 by the prestigious Ludwig BOROVNIK, in Ferlach, Austria and finished by DORLEAC & DORLEAC.
The 23" barrel, fully machined from a single piece of Böhler "Super Blitz" steel, is chambered for the all time classic 6,5x57R cartridge.
It's of octagonal profile with integral rib and front sight base.
The Ischler round action uses a double bolt lug and a doll's head extension to secure the barrel and the hammer back lock is let off via a traditional German double set trigger while the rebounding hammer has a safety half cock.
OBILTSCHNIG has engraved the entire action and fittings with Germanic scrolls surrounding a chiselled chamois vignette, the whole being grey finished.
The 14½" LOP stock is made of first class selected figured French walnut with oval cheekpiece and black buffalo horn fittings and the two parts full length forend with middle schnabel is capped with a roe deer antler crown. The finely checkered wood is satin oil finished.
When completing the barrel filling and finish we have fitted a SWAROVSKI AV 3-10x42 R4A scope on handmade Ferlacher small claw mounts and a gold lined folding rear sight regulated on the blued caterpillar front bead.
That kipplauf weights only 6lbs 8oz and 7lbs 9oz scoped.
Indeed this new rifle bears our complete guarantee.
