Light Suhler Mountain Shot & Rifle Gun
BITTORF
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 20GA 2¾" & .22 Savage HP
Master gunsmith K. Bittorf in Suhl (GDR) made this very high quality light shot and rifle gun in 1957 for the family firm A. Bittorf in Düsseldorf (West Germany)
The reduced Buhag action with four Kersten-Greener bolts is finely engraved in traditional Suhler pattern depicting animal vignettes surrounded by Germanic scrolls, the whole finished in a superb French grey patina.
Protected by a gorgeous black buffalo horn trigger guard, the double triggers control the blitz locks, the rifled barrel first one with set system, while the safety is automatic.
The 25" chopper lump barrels, low temp soldered, assemble a 20.GA improved modified smooth bore tube to a .22 Savage HP rifled barrel.
The 14¼" LOP pistol grip stock is made of a well-figured piece of French walnut, it sports a beaded oval cheek piece and is finished with a ?" leather covered soft butt pad.
A Zeiss “Diatal” Z T* 4×32 R.4 scope fitted on excellent claw mounts allows to take advantage of the gun outstanding accuracy.
With a 6.lbs 10.oz net weight and 7.lbs 8.oz scoped, that shot & rifle gun is perfectly suited for mountain hunting and it bears our entire guarantee.
