A gorgeous sidelocks double barrels side-by-side express rifle, made circa 1997 by the prestigious firm Ludwig Borovnik, in Ferlach, Austria.
The 24½" chopper lump barrels are made from Böhler "Super Blitz" steel and are chambered for the modern and potent .30R Blaser cartridge.
The action uses a Greener cross bar with double bolt lugs at the barrels and sports two H&H rear springs sidelocks. The automatic selective ejectors are of H&H pattern and the safety is automatic.
Obiltschnig has engraved the entire action and fitting with hunting scenes on Germanic scrolls background, the whole being grey finished.
The 15?" LOP stock is made of oil finished higher-grade selected French walnut with traditional Bavarian cheekpiece and black buffalo horn fittings.
This rifle gun is fitted with a Zeiss "Diavari" ZM 1,5-6x42 T* R4 scope on Ferlacher claw mounts and its accuracy and flawless performance are beyond critics.
Its weights 8lbs 2oz net and 9lbs 10oz scoped.
