Built during the eighties on a traditional Mauser 98 action by "Les Ateliers Saint-Éloi" in Paris, that big game rifle is chambered for the hard kicking .458 WM cartridge.
The action, with lowered bolt lever and modified magazine is fitted to a superb Bohler steel full ribbed octagonal 26" barrel.
The massive stock is from a nice piece of well figured French walnut with a 13½" LOP on a leather-covered buttplate.
With 7lbs 7oz net weight that well balanced rifle is very quick on target.
