A nice sample of Original Mauser B type hunting rifle made at Oberndorf in 1924 on a 98' civilian action fitted with a German double set triggers and a key secured opening magazine floor plate.

All parts of the rifle are numbered to the same SN and the slightly heavy round 24'' barrel is chambered for the 10,75x68 cartridge.

The bore is near perfect, very clean and the accuracy remains flawless.

The 14½'' L.O.P slim stock is made from good French walnut, with steel capped checkered grip and schnabel forend, the butt being finished with a Mauser monogrammed original plate.

This Mauser B type seems to have been very well cared as it retains the major part of the original Oberndorf finish with only some portion of the rust blue turning greyish.

The rifle weights 7.lbs 5.oz, it functions flawlessly, shots accurately and bears our entire guarantee.

Finding such a well-preserved Original Mauser sporter becomes harder every day.
