MAUSER ORIGINAL OBERNDORF
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 9x57 Mauser
An excellent Original Mauser rifle made at Oberndorf circa 1913 on a commercial 98 action fitted with a German double hair trigger and an opening floor plate with key bolting.
The rifle retains its original slow rust bluing, faintly faded, and all parts bear the same number.
The round 24" barrel is chambered for the 9x57 Mauser cartridge.
The slim stock is made in good French walnut, nicely checkered, with 14½ " L.O.P on the WM (Mauser Waffenfabrik) monogrammed original black horn butt plate.
The action is fitted with Suhler claw mounts holding a fully functional Voigtländer Skopar "Beta"3x scope.
That rifle weights 6lbs15oz and 8lbs3oz with its scope.
A pre WW1 Original Mauser sporter in such a well-preserved condition is rarely encountered at the present time and we are proud to offer that one in near perfect condition.
