Category : C
Caliber : 6,5x57 R
Light single shot Karpaten rifle with safe separate cocking system, built by Gottfried Juch in Ferlach.
The monobloc, octagonal Böhler steel 24" barrel is chambered for the traditional European stalking 6,5x57R cartridge.
The action uses a blitz type system, with separate cocking lever, and a combined Kersten and double bolting to the barrel lugs; the whole lightly scroll engraved and grey finished.
The 14½ LOP Austrian shaped stock bears a "Kaisergriff" grip and a sculpted Bavarian cheekpiece; it is made from good French walnut.
That kipplauf is fitted with a Zeiss "Diavari" Z 1,5-6x42 scope on claw mounts.
The rifle weights only 6lbs 6oz alone and 7lbs 11oz scoped.
