Manufacture d'Armes & Cycles de Saint-Etienne build that rifle circa 1905/1010 on the action created by Louis d'Audeteau after the Franco-Prussian War.
That rare sample is chambered for the .405WCF cartridge and it is in very good condition due to an ancient Saint-Etienne good restoration.
The 26" barrel is fitted with the traditional Rival sights and all the metal parts are deep black slow rust blued, apart from the bolt that displays a faded old color-casehardening surface.
The 14½" LOP stock is made from dark French walnut and bears a steel buttplate.
That old rifle functions flawlessly.
