A fine single shot .22lr Sportmodell "V" made by Carl Walther Waffenfabrik in Zella-Melhis prior WW2 (circa 1941).

The full-sized receiver, with adjustable trigger and flag catch safety, is assembled to a heavy sporter 25" barrel, fitted with micro rear sight and interchangeable front bead on ramp.

The walnut stock displays a 14" length of pull measured from the trigger to the center of the original monogrammed composition buttplate.

The rifle is fitted with a Hensoldt "Diatal" 4x32 with n°4 reticle and rail tube on a set of Apel Werke quick detachable sliding steel mounts.

The whole assembly weights 8lb 8oz and 7lb 9oz for the rifle only.
