Caliber : .243 Winchester
Although proofed in September 1985 this rare "Sport" variant of the STEYR SSG.69 is in a remarkable state of conservation, close to new.
The mechanism is the traditional STEYR L, with Makrolon rotary magazine and equipped with excellent finely adjustable match trigger.
The scope mounting rails are machined in the reinforced receiver and that rifle is delivered with a set of rare original Ø 30mm original quick detachable rings.
The 26", semi heavy, forged steel barrel is chambered for the accurate .243 Winchester.
The slightly twisted shaped tube carries a set of metallic sights consisting of a slanted rear leaf with inlaid contrasting triangle and an adjustable front bead under sliding protection.
All the metal parts are blued in matt anthracite heavy grey.
The ambidextrous 14" LOP stock, optimized for precision shooting, is in excellent European tight grained walnut; it carries a composite multi parts butt plate that help to adjust the length of pull.
The extended gripping surfaces are finely stippled.
This Scharf Schützen Gewehr, in perfect condition and with guaranteed accuracy, weighs 9 lbs. 15oz with its 30mm rings set.
