Twin barrels n°2 Model
HOLLAND & HOLLAND
Shotguns
Category : D
Caliber : 12-70mm / 2''¾
An exceptional "N°2 Ejector Model" made circa 1933, and originally factory furnished with two sets of chopper lump barrels fitted to the triple bolted action.
Indeed, the ejectors are of the H&H pattern with wide extractors.
The 28½" chopper lump barrels are originally 2"¾ chambered and bored .725" with 3/10° & 7/10° chokes for the first one and full & full for the second that is inscribed "Full Chocke" under the rib.
The interiors of the tubes are perfects and remain untouched with a mirror like finish.
The engraving is not the traditional "Royale" large scroll but a finely executed traditional "Best Bouquet & Scrolls" covering all the action and fitting that retain the greater part of the original color case hardening, slightly fainted.
A superb piece of English reddish walnut was used to make the 14.?” LOP straight stock that includes a slim leather covered buttplate.
The majority of the factory finish is well conserved, as a testimony of the care taken in preserving that fine gun.
The gun is presented in its original oak and leather case with accessories and labels.
Perfect in every respect, with flawless functioning and shooting.
6lbs 15oz net weight and, indeed, perfect balance at the join.
