Big game rifle, caliber .375 H&H Magnum Rimless, built in our workshop circa 2005 in the classic style on the basis of a 1953 made Winchester pre 64 Express.

The original 25" barrel has been retained and reassembled on a fully blue printed action while the original sheet metal magazine has given way to a new monobloc large capacity magnum one with specially machined feeding plate and Oberndorf type opening floorplate.

The reprofiled barrel bears now a wide V express rear sight followed by three gold-lined folding leaves, the whole sighted on a combined moon-sight front bead set on an elongated ramp.

The action and fittings are lightly engraved in traditional "Royale" scrolls and all parts have been treated in DWM rust blue.

The wood is a beautiful quality French walnut, with contrasted flamed veins, but with a straight grain, treated in safari style, with real black horn forend tip and English Silver's red butt pad.

This custom rifle is fitted with a rare Swarovski Z6 EL "Safari" 1-6x24 scope set on engraved custom Talley mounts.

With its 14½" LOP this rifle weighs 9,20 lbs without optics and 10,35 lbs scoped.

 

This rifle, that supports our full warranty, has received a thorough overhaul in our workshop.

It is optimized for shooting 300 grains bullets with which it delivers remarkable accuracy.
